How it works
EU Pollution standards

EU Pollution standards

The European Union has established pollution standards to regulate and limit the amount of harmful substances emitted into the environment. These standards aim to protect air, water, and soil quality, as well as human health.

Regarding biochar, there are specific regulations for its production process, such as emissions limits for greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and other pollutants. Biochar must also meet certain quality criteria, such as the absence of heavy metals or other harmful substances.

EU Safety standards

EU has several pollution and safety standards for biochar, carbon credits and other related topics, aimed at ensuring safe and sustainable practices in these areas.

These standards include regulations for air and water pollution, waste management, safety of products and materials, and sustainable use of resources.

They are continuously updated and improved to keep pace with the latest developments and to protect public health and the environment.

Upcoming site in 2024

For 2024, we aim to open our first site in India.

This site will include additional R&D improvements and will help to further demonstrate the replicability and scalability of our model.
